40 years - 1975-2015

We formed on 6th November 1975 following a request from the Chief Constable.  We were originally known as ‘Galloway Hill Search and Rescue Unit’ and operated as a sub-group of Moffat Hill Search and Rescue.  Over the years we’ve gone from strength to strength.  Follow our story here.
